Several BSODs - Windows Admin Problems

I've been having BSODs in September due to my GFX card overheating. I changed that and also cleaned a mallware infection.

BUT, since 10 days ago I've started having new BSODs, which are sometimes followed by a system crash on startup.

I have used BlueScreenView to see the minidumps but I seem unable to access them (it says "access is denied") and indeed I cannot even attach them here because when I do, windows says:

"You don't have permission Contact the file owner or an administrator to obtain permission."

I tried to change permissions via properties->security but I seem to be unable to (I used to be able before the BSOD). It seems to have somehow messed up with my user settings (and my FF cookies are gone too).

Where do I start?

Please help if you can!
