No Internet after running combo fix!

So....in trying to watch the UFC fight last night, I ended up downloading some junk on my laptop (live player 3.2 extension to be exact). When googling how to remove this, I saw it was suggested to d/l and run combo fix. Apparently, this was a bad idea. This did remove live player, but now I can't connect to the Internet. Everything else seems to work as normal, but I cannot connect to my home wireless network. I've tried some things to fix it, but no luck yet. What do you guys suggest? FWIW, Acer laptop with Windows 7. Thanks in advance!
