Mouse and keyboard randomly stop working

Hi there,

I got a problem with my wired mouse and keyboard. Once or two times a day, they suddenly stop working (no input) at the same time for no reason. The cursor on the screen will not move anymore and keys don't work. My mouse has a light on top which should continuesly burn, but if they stop working, this light starts to turn on and off in a random pattern. Replugging the USB cables does not work. Changing to different USB slots doesn't work either. The only way to fix this is to reset my computer, which is really annoying! Can someone help me out to find the reason of this failure?
