Redirect virus (I think)

I apologize profoundly, but I'm not even sure if this is the right forum. I have an ancient computer with Windows 7 where I'm being redirected to pages I never asked for. I tried Malwarebytes and Kaspersky's tdss killer, and they found nothing. I can get on a page I need if I keep starting afresh. I also know very little about computers :/
