Hello this is my first post here at bleeping computers! Ive been using the site for some time tho and its helped me out of alot of computer problems so i thought id make a post of my own! :D
I have a interesting problem at my hands. Hard drive C: has windows 8 installed and is recognized as the boot Hard drive( Keep in mind it is not possible for me to boot from the primary HD). My secondary Hard drive is for some reason recognized as the system HDD and its required for me to have both connected in the computer in order for me to boot. This wouldnt be a problem except for the fact that my primary HDD C: is failing and i need to transfer all the data( including the OS) to my third HDD. Im using a program called easeUS and it seems capable of the task however when i try to boot from the cloned drive it always gives me errors and im thinking this system active HDD is the source of my problem.
So my question is how do i get rid of the system active and make it possible to boot from the primary drive again?.
