Am i Infected? What do I do? Pls help

So after last night, I close my computer and it says windows needs to update and then this morning when I open my computer it says " unable to read firewall configuration" along with my "ESET Smart Security: your system is exposed to risk, for more information click on the notification" and also my internet is disabled. I investigated some more and turns out alot of features on my ESET anti-virus are disabled but I do not know if they were previously disabled. Some features that are disabled include document protection, removeable media protection, and ESET- Anti Theft. Help me , please and
