Good for the price?

Im looking at this laptop (MSI GE70 2OE-017US)

I want a decent "gaming" laptop, and this one fits the bill, its powerful and very well priced.

I have 2 questions though...

1) Depending where you look its rated at 2.4 through 3.4 Ghz base (some say 2.8, some say 3.2 etc) the MSI site says 2.4-3.4 and I know it auto adjusts, is the number listed the set limit or what?

2) should I spend a little more and get the one with the 770m or stay with the 765m? (difference of like a hundred or so)

Any better prices for a better system that anyone knows of?
