Hey Folks,
I am having some wireless network range issues. My service provider supplied wireless router is installed in the basement and we are getting a really bad connection on our 2nd level. I currently have an old Cisco G router upstairs which is wired to the router in the basement, so right now I have 2 different wireless networks which works ok as far as Internet connection is concerned, but it has become a bit of a hassle in terms of sharing between my networked devices. I.e. apple tv and laptop with an iTunes library are not always connected to the same network. I'm looking to get some feedback as I did a bit of reading, but I'm not sure how to properly get this done. I tried using a wireless range extender, but I'm not a fan at all. Also, I'm looking at getting a new router with USB connectivity to an external hard drive.
Thanks in advance!
