Randomly playing audio and computer freezes

Hi

A few days ago my PC started randomly playing audio and freezing. I'm using Windows 7 home premium 64 bit Service Pack 1 Build 6.01.7601 I've had to turn to power off several times. I use McAfee firewall, virus and spyware protection. After the problems started I ran Super anti spyware (which only found tracking cookies) and Malwarebytes which didn't find anything. At the moment I'm using Google Chrome as the browser and my computer hasn't frozen yet so I think IE may be infected.

I would appreciate any help with this.
