Recovery error with Kaspersky security warning

Very recently I had an apparently major viral infection. Combofix told me I had a rootkit. I ran tdsskilker after that. While it was finishing my system froze. I performed a hard reset. After that, the mouse and keyboard wouldn't work as soon as windows loaded. Since then, I've been trying to run the recovery software, and I have been getting the same mouse and keyboard issue, as well as a security warning from Kasperksy Lab attempting to open a file from my temp folder. I can't even dismiss this warning as the peripherals don't work. Any ideas anyone? I'm trying to avoid reinstalling windows.
