When encountering the OS screen to select which version of Windows i'd like to load i'm unable to load my preferred version because of this error:
Windows has encounter a problem communicating with a device connected to your computer. This error can be caused by unplugging a removable storage device such as an external USB drive while the device is in use, or by faulty hardware such as a hard drive or CD-ROM drive that is failing. Info: An unexpected I/O error has occurred.
When i press f8 and try to select any other option the same error occurs and the my computer restarts. I've successfully managed to load Windows 7 onto another hard drive but would like to try and repair my old version so i don't have to start all over again with regards to downloading various programs etc. I am able to access the drive with the corrupted OS on it if this is any help. Also i've tried repairing it via a recovery usb but to no avail.
My system spec can be found by visiting this link:

Here is a list of drives i have attached to the PC.
The original drive was OS (D:) , i've installed a working Windows 7 on a new partition {disk 2} (C:)
However i noticed that one of my storage drives which just has a bunch of media on it and no os whatsoever is listed as system for some reason. Could this be one of the causes?
