Help with google chrome please

hello

can anyone help - i keep getting the red warning alert saying certificate is not trusted when i click on chrome icon on desktop whilst internet has yet to connect: I have read about checking time and date in settings, but when i go to settings page then i cannot log into the place "log into google chrome" and it just hangs and says not responding all the time.

Please can someone help?

Have tried uninstalling once but with no joy
