Windows 8, Open Broadcast Software, CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT

Hello!

I'm running into a problem with when I'm streaming some games, such as Final Fantasy 14, and Counter Strike: Global Offensive, that first my graphics lock (in that sound seems to still work) and then after about three seconds, I get a nice screeching feedback, and then Windows shutdowns with a CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT as the error reason. From what I've read, it seems likely that it is a hardware issue, that must be being made apparent from the multitude of things I'm asking my computer to do.

I'm hoping with help I'll be able to narrow it down to which part is fouling up.
